Earthshine, Aldebaran

On the evening of 21st of april 2015, the crescent moon was visible, low in the western sky. The glow over the unlit part of a crescent moon is called “earthshine”. It is light reflected from earth. The bright star close to the moon is Alpha Tauri (Aldebaran)
