June 22nd, Collado de Gelada, Vall de Boi, Catalunya, Spain. One of our utmost pleasures in the mountains is to make a long walk to a mountain lake. After a tiring and sometimes difficult walk, finally reaching the lake gives you the feeling that you accomplished something extraordinary and makes you enjoy and appreciate nature at its best. But this time the point of return of our walk turned out to be only a small mudpool, used by animals to drink, instead of a cristal-clear lake. Nothing spectacular, but using a fish-eye lens surely gives an impressive picture, don’t you agree? At a distance we could see the horses grazing on these mountain-meadows. Views were stunning, as usual…
