Aug. 7, 2017. La Palma, Roque de los Muchachos. The “calima” is striking again, with a thick cloud which came into sight this morning… This lead to a spectacular morning view of the setting (full) Moon in a bright orange colour. Late this afternoon, the Sun set into the dusty layer and disappeared well before reaching the horizon!
