June 12th, 2025, High Fens, Belgium-Germany border. Late spring in the High Fens offers special treats such as cottongrass (veenpluis), common sundew (zonnedauw) and arctic starflower with six or seven sepals (zevenster). Also, we were careful not to step on a small adder crossing our path.
